November 13 - 17

Veterans Day

We had the privilege of meeting war hero, Mr. V. Belcastro (Joey's dad), today. He shared with us information about his experiences in the army.  Mr. Belcastro shared lots of photos and answered many questions from the students.  He served in the countries of Afghanistan, Iraq, and Korea.  Thank you Mr. Belcastro for your service to our country!

Mr. Scatena, Joey's papa, is also a veteran.  We were able to hear about his experiences in the Air Force.

I'm so thankful for our veterans ~ such courageous men and women who love our country and are willing to sacrifice time away from their families to fight for us.  Thank you to Mr. Belcastro and Mr. Scatena and so many others this Veterans Day!
