Pen Pal Letters Arrived!!

We were so excited to get our pen pal letters from our new friends at Prairieview!  Mrs. Klacza's class told us about our new school and even sent us pencils!  We can't wait to meet them on May 24!

                        Bring a sack lunch ~ we'll be eating in the room when we return to school
Wed. May 24 - Pen Pal field trip to Prairieview
Fri. May 26 - All school field trip to DGS to see Little Mermaid
Mon. May 29 - No School  Memorial Day
Wed. May 31 - Field trip to Brookfield Zoo
Mon. May 29 - No School  Memorial Day
Fri. June 2 -  Last Day of School  Early Dismissal

Movies - A few students brought in movies for us to watch and they are rated PG.  The 2 movies are Minions and Alvin and the Chipmunks.  If you are opposed to your child seeing either of these movies, please let me know.

Reading - Next week we will be taking our end of the year Benchmark Reading Tests.

Our pen pal letters from Mrs. Klazca's 3rd grade class have arrived!  We will spend the week writing a return letter to our pen pals.  On May 24, we will visit Prairieview and meet our pen pals!

Math - We will continue to work on Multiplication this week.  We'll learn about multiplying numbers in any order and the rules of multiplying with 0 and 1.
